OK, so it isn't an original pose. But I like the shots of people's feet that turn up on Flickr. That's how I discovered Camper shoes.
And some day I will own a pair. In the meantime, there are these $3.86 end-of-season specials from Target. They're comfy, kind of cute, and they actually stay on my skinny feet when I walk.
It's always a good day when quilts visit me at the library. My buddy Leeann stopped in to show me the results of a Laura Wasilowski class she took at Quilt Expo last weekend. Seeing this just made my day.

Mr. Kathie and I are heading up to Upper Michigan this weekend for a quick visit at a friend's camp waaaaaay out in the middle of nowhere. I'm taking knitting--nearly done with these socks.

Didn't I predict a Halloween finish? And I'm ready to start another pair. Those will probably take me till next spring.
Back Sunday.

I gasped with admiration when I saw your friend's wonderful quilt!
And I look with envy upon your socks! I still havent tried any, & havent found a pattern!
Yes, it's the time of year to start thinking about new socks. Knit faster, Kathie!
Love that quilt -- I got to hear Laura W. speak at my guild last year -- she's a riot! (and her hand dyed fabrics are to DIE for)
Love the socks -- have a great trip!
